A Non-Certified Member of the AMLPA is a company that intends to eventually become certified yet may not have the resources available to do so at this time. A list of the current requirements to become non-certified are listed below.

AMLPA Quality & Service Commitment
The goal of the AMLPA is to provide consumers with information and access to the highest caliber moving labor companies, despite their certification. A certified members qualifications speak for themselves, license, insurance, released valuation, etc are all products of a quality company. As a non-certified member you may not have had the time necessary to take those steps, as a member of the AMLPA we will provide you with resources to make them a reality.

The AMLPA Commitment is an agreement from your company to operate at the highest level of quality, to be polite and courteous to all customers and to diligently work to solve any customer concerns. While it is a simple agreement it means a lot to the professional members of the AMLPA and is the foundation for membership, all members must agree to the provisions of the oath in order to be considered for the AMLPA.

6-Month Time Frame
As a non-certified member you are not required to be licensed, insured or provide released valuation. However, we do require that within 6-months you become a legal business with your state(s) by filing at a minimum a DBA or your articles of incorporation. Further, you must apply for any applicable local or county licenses which may be required by your local jurisdiction.

General liability is not a requirement at any time for non-certified members, although it is recommended.

Third-Party Reviews
Because you do not have a license or insurance we must verify the quality of your work through other outlets. Third party review sites like Yelp, Merchant Circle, Google, BBB, etc will be evaluated with your application. References will also be checked and evaluated as part of this process.
